Job Description

We’re looking for an entry-level AI/ML Engineer with strong Python and API fundamentals who can support the design and integration of AI-powered systems. You’ll build APIs, connect to AI tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain), and contribute to pipelines that bring intelligence into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Python-based microservices using FastAPI or Flask for AI feature integration.
  • Integrate cloud AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and implement embeddings or chat workflows.
  • Develop simple data cleaning and feature-engineering scripts using Pandas and NumPy.
  • Work with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, FOSS) for search and retrieval tasks.
  • Assist in model evaluation, basic prompt design, and embedding pipeline validation.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to deploy and test inference endpoints in Dockerized environments.

    • Core Skills Required

  • Python (Proficient) – clean code and modular architecture.
  • Frameworks: FastAPI or Flask, basic PyTorch/TensorFlow exposure.
  • Data: Pandas, NumPy, SQL basics.

  • AI Tools: Any of the cloud AI APIs (OpenAI, Groq, Gemini, Cluade), LangChain, LlamaIndex (basic usage).

  • Containerization: Docker awareness.

    • Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of vector DBs (pgvector/Pinecone) and embedding generation.

  • Exposure to LangGraph, CrewAI or any agentic framework.
  • Interest in chatbot and document AI use cases.

    • Soft Skills

  • Eager learner with an ownership mindset.

  • Ability to work closely with mentors and cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity about the AI ecosystem and open-source projects.
