We are seeking a sharp, high-potential FinTech Consultant with strong financial-services domain expertise, business acumen, structured problem-solving skills, and a genuine curiosity to understand complex business challenges. The ideal candidate should be able to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders, understand business goals and customer needs, challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and translate complex financial workflows into clear product requirements and practical solutions. You should be comfortable working across business, product, design, and engineering teams, taking ownership from discovery through delivery, and continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes, products, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client discovery conversations to understand business goals, customer needs, operational workflows, and existing systems.
• Translate business requirements into clear customer journeys, workflows, business rules, MVP scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps, challenge assumptions, validate requirements, and recommend practical solutions.
• Bring strong financial-services domain knowledge to identify exceptions, dependencies, risks, and operational requirements.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and solution options.
• Take ownership of requirements from discovery through implementation, UAT, and launch.
• Support teams in resolving requirement ambiguities, managing scope changes, and ensuring alignment with agreed business outcomes.
• Contribute to presales activities including opportunity discovery, proposals, solution scope, and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and workflows rather than simply executing existing requirements.
• Create reusable fintech knowledge such as discovery checklists, process maps, reference workflows, and practical guidance for internal teams.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in FinTech consulting, business analysis, product ownership, or closely related roles.

• Strong experience in at least one financial-services domain such as payments, digital banking, lending, mortgages, wealth and investments, core banking, or insurance.
• Hands-on experience taking a financial product or significant capability from discovery through production.
• Strong understanding of financial workflows, customer journeys, business processes, and operational requirements.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear workflows, prioritised requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience leading client workshops and collaborating with business, product, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
• Working understanding of APIs, third-party integrations, system interactions, and data flows.
• Ability to identify relevant regulatory, compliance, security, and operational requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or equivalent.

• Experience working across multiple client consulting or delivery engagements.
