At GeekyAnts, human resources (HR) is focused on understanding what people need and knowing how to provide it. Here we are searching for a qualified and resourceful HR generalist to lead Admin, Payroll, and related aspects of our HR department and ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

The HR generalist will have administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us plan and administer essential functions, such as onboarding, offboarding, and compensation and benefits. What will you do in the company?

Payroll and Budget:
  • Handling payroll management and employee benefits such as leaves, insurance, attendance, and employee perks.
  • Coordinate with the finance team in finalization and distribution of monthly Payroll.
  • Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
  • Advise the team on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation.
    • Compliance and Recordkeeping:
      • Review the personnel handbook and recommend amendments based on market standards, local conditions, and labor laws.
      • Review employee reimbursements and bonus requests based on company policies.
      • Manage employee timesheets, leaves, attendance.
      • Facilitate job analysis and prepare various analytical reports on employees, including MIS.
        • Employee Relations:

            Design, develop and deploy employee:

          • onboarding programs, including but not limited to background checks, benefits enrollment, induction, orientation, and integration of the new hires.
          • offboarding program, including exit interviews & separation process, and ensure exit interviews are used to identify gaps in the talent experience.
          • Work with the finance & HR employee relations team to resolve employee issues related to payroll, reimbursement, bonus, etc.


              What do you need/ skillset requirements?

              • Work experience of minimum 5 years as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or relevant roles.
              • Post-graduate in Human Resources or relevant field.
              • Experiences with HRIS/HRMS Software.
              • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and compliance management.
              • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
              • Strong email and in-person communication and negotiation skills.

              Educational Qualifications

              Masters or PGDM or MBA in Human Resource
