As a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, defect-free products. This role requires strong attention to detail, a structured testing approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements and design detailed test scenarios and test cases covering functional and edge cases.
• Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile (Android and iOS) applications across various user flows.
• Execute functional, UI, usability, regression, smoke, and sanity testing to ensure product quality across releases.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing across different environments, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Validate mobile-specific functionalities such as installation, upgrades, permissions, push notifications, gestures, and network conditions.
• Perform manual API testing using Postman, validating request-response structures, status codes, headers, and authentication.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to reproduce issues, clarify requirements, and improve product quality.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in test case creation and defect reporting.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing (Web & Mobile).
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
