We are the team behind the famous NativeBase open-source project and our latest product, gluestack, is an innovative dev-tool that's transforming the way developers work. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Community Manager to join our team and help drive gluestack's growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement and Management:Foster a positive and active community for gluestack on platforms like Reddit, HackerNews, ProductHunt, Twitter, LinkedIn, and email
• Content Creation: Craft engaging weekly and monthly newsletters about gluestack's updates by coordinating with the gluestack team.
• Product Promotion: Drive gluestack's visibility across various platforms, engage with users, gather feedback, and shape our market presence.
• Customer Support: Be the primary point of contact for gluestack users via email, address their concerns promptly, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Bridge Between Users and gluestack Team: Facilitate effective communication between the gluestack team and our users, translating needs and feedback between both.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience in community engagement, social media management, and/or product marketing.
• team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or background in a technical field is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to understand technical concepts and translate them for a wider audience.
• Experience with content creation, particularly writing newsletters or blog posts.
• Experience in a startup environment is preferred.

Career Progression

The Community Manager role can serve as a springboard to higher level positions such as Senior Community Manager or Community Lead. Work Hours & Reporting Structure

You'll have flexible work hours but our team usually works from 11 am to 8 pm at our Bangalore office. In this role, you'll be directly reporting to the CEO.
